This is a Terracotta Rhino figurine from the Han Dynasty in China. The figurine depicts a rhinoceros, showcasing intricate details characteristic of Han Dynasty art. This antique piece is an original from that time period, reflecting the artistic craftsmanship and cultural significance of Chinese art. The rhino also comes with a wooden base. Archaeological evidence and Chinese literature tells us that rhinoceroses did exist in ancient China. Their very accurate depicts of rhinos, like this one, in art is further evidence that rhinos were in China. Due to the demand for the rhino horn, they began to go extinct during the Song dynasty.

The rhino is in good condition considering its age.
