A striking necklace composed of ancient glass beads in rich shades of deep blue and soft green, exhibiting the distinctive surface weathering associated with long-term burial. Each bead is uniquely shaped, with irregular forms and a softly pitted, matte patina that reflects centuries of natural aging. The varied sizes and organic contours give the piece a sculptural, tactile quality.
 
The beads are interspersed with light-colored spacer beads, likely later additions, and the necklace has been professionally restrung for modern wear. While the individual beads are consistent with Roman-era glass (circa 1st–5th century CE), the current arrangement is contemporary.
 
The piece has some surface wear due to age and use. In good condition with contemporary restringing.
