The seated female figure is from Vera Cruz, Mexico. She has her legs folded over each other, with one of her hands on her knee. "She wears an elaborate headdress, ear spools, and a necklace. These types of figures are known as "coast watcher" they would have been placed along the shoreline to watch for invaders.
 
The figure is missing one of her arms and part of her headdress. A sticker and writing are on the back.
