The Ming Dynasty Chinese Pressed Clay Fragment of a Man's Head is an antique artifact from China. This fragment is an original piece from the Ming Dynasty era, showcasing intricate details and historical significance. The fragment, at one time, was apart of a longer piece with a body and more figures. The fragment is preserved on a wooden mounting. The pressed clay face is covered in gesso and pigments. You can still make out the man's facial hair, mouth. nose, and eyes.

The fragment shows some signs of wear with some of the gesso missing, this is due to age.
