This exquisite print by Maceo showcases the beautiful Madame Landowska in all her elegance. Madame Landowska (1879-1959), born Wanda Aleksandra Landowska, was a Polish harpsichordist. She is responsible for reviving the popularity of the harpsichord in the early 20th century. The etching dates to 1968, which means it was created after her death. The etching depicts Madame Landowska in profile with her hair back in a bun, a hairstyle she commonly wore. Created through the technique of etching, this original piece is a true masterpiece. Etching is a printmaking process in which lines are incised using acid into a metal plate to hold ink. The artist's handcrafted print is perfect for any art collector or musician.

The etching is in good condition, but there is some water damage on the matting.
