The product is a large Japanese framed embroidered silk Daimyo procession from the 19th/20th Century. This intricate artwork originates from Japan and showcases traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The daimyo procession was a ceremonial parade of feusal lords and their entourages, primarily in the Edo period (1603-1868), often as part of the sankin-kotai system. The scene includes a column of attendants in matching dress, lantern bearers and palanquin carries.The intricately embroidered silk fabric depicts a traditional Daimyo procession, making it a unique and valuable piece of Asian antiques.
