The product is a large embroidered Chinese celebration/ceremony wall hanging, featurting The 8 Immortals (Ba xian). Dominaing the center is the Shou character symbolizing longevity. Towards the left of the Shou character is Budai, the laughing Buddha, he symbolizes contentment and abundance. Scattered throughout the textile are The 8 Daoist Immortals including; He Xiangu, Li Tieguai, Zhongli Quan (Han Zhongli), Lu Dongbin, Han Xiangzi, Cao Guo Jiu, Zhang Guolao, and Lan Caihe. The piece is full of lotus flowers, peonies, and bats symbolizing good fortune, happinesss, and longevity. Lastly is the stricking rainbow ground, an auspicious ground, which good fortune rises. This unique piece serves as a decorative and cultural artifact, featuring intricate embroidery and designs that represent various aspects of Chinese culture. The textile is in very good condition. There is some wear and fraying of the embroidery mainly on the corners.
