This Japanese Lacquer Plate, dating back to around 1820, comes with a wooden display box. This antique piece originates from Japan and is crafted with black lacquer, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and design. Towards the bottom of the bowl is golden grain, along with a horizon of landscape. A bird flies above the landscape, towards the top of the plate. The plate is fitted in a wooden display box. The box is lined with purple fabric. The plate comes with two documents, recording its provenance. The plate comes from Nakaya Fine Art Store in Tochigi-Ken, Japan.
