This is an Early Meiji Japanese Tetsubin Cast Iron Kettle from Japan. It is made of iron and is an antique original piece. Tetsubin kettles are traditional Japanese teapots known for their durability and heat retention qualities, making them ideal for brewing tea. The kettle features a dragon chasing a pearl with swirling clouds surrounding them. The pearl is associated with wisdom, prosperity, and power. The kettle has a pouring spout and a removeable lid. 

 
The kettle shows some signs of wear and age. Some rusting on the inside.
