This is an antique calling card case made from tortoise shell. It is an original piece and is considered a unique and collectible item. The front of the case is intricately carved showcasing a dragon. The dragon's body curves in and around the decorative motifs, also featured on the front of the case. The case opens to reveal three slots for cards.
 
The case shows some signs of wear and age. There is some chipping.
