This interesting old musical instrument called Flutina, was made in France during the first half of the 1800's. It was the earliest form of accordion having buttons and leather baffles, which produced a flute-like tone. This fine old instrument was made with hardwood case, carved mother of pearl buttons/keys and with delicate leather bellows that were were covered with finely painted paper panels.(WILL BE WILLING TO SPLIT THE TWO UP)#1 The old instrument still plays. The mother of pearl pads are intact with several of the key tabs broken away with one small piece of the veneer is missing on the bottom of the case. The frame has pulled slightly apart in one corner, but leather baffles are intact. One might restore it but the piece is beautiful as is and a wonderful piece of musical history.#2 same has the first flutina, but this one is missing a key.Dimensions: 11 5/8" L X4 1/2" W X 6 1/2" 12 1/2" X 4 3/4" W X 5 3/4"
