These Tibetan ear ornaments are an accessory that would have been added to a headdress or worn over the ears. This pair is fabricated from silver components with silver raised beads and granulation details. They are in the form of Buddhist Auspicious symbols representing the rectangular double lozenge with a mandala and lotus flower pattern.

A round turquoise stone is inlaid in the top lotus decoration, however one ear ornament is missing the turquoise stone. Strings of turquoise beads have been attached around the bottom portion, while turquoise and red glass beads are stitched around the top portion. A large hook is fixed in the back which would attach to the headdress.
