Antique Japanese print from the 1st edition Birds and Flowers of Japan by Imao Keinen (1845-1942). Keinen was an ukiyo-e artist and painter. His specialty was Kachoga bird and flower paintings done in elaborate and gorgeous manner with realistic detail. This print depicts a bull finish in a citron fruit tree which symbolizes luck and prosperity. The print is creased one the center and has age marks. It is nicely matted. 
 
On the back on the print, it states this is a painting, but after evaluation, we believe this to be a woodblock print.
