This ceremonial keris handle is finely carved from wood in the Tapak Kuda (horse hoof) style. Delicately pierced and carved with raised bands of traditional stylized floral patterns into the impression of the Hindu elephant god Ganesh , showing the influence of Aniconism in Islamic design.
