Meiji Japanese fine inlaid shibayama gilded lacquer tray fashioned in a rectangular shape with undulating edges, resting on 4 delicate feet underneath. The tray is overlaid with 4 lovely tsuba shapes each decorated with inlaid shibayama representing scenes filled with birds and flowers, teapot and hanging basket. There are two signature inscription tiles signed “Yoshito” and “Yoshio” There is minor restoration to the tray edges and the shibayama inlay.
