This Japanese lacquer charger comes from the Meiji period, approximately late 19th century/early 20th century. It shows a dimensional lacquer eagle flying over mountains and trees. This piece also has a lobed edge with painted patterned designs and a footed bottom. Some damage has been professionally restored.
