Edo Japanese 18th/19th Century Japanese carved wood and lacquer gilded standing Buddha Amida.  The Buddha of Immeasurable light and life and love. This figure displays a gentle expression with delicately carved features having inset glass eyes and moon stone forehead and head crown jewels the hair is finely knotted and the ears have long hanging lobes. He wears flowing robes holding his hands in the raigo welcoming peaceful mudra position. The buddha is gilded overall and  stands on a custom wood base.
