This old scrapbook of newspaper clippings highlights of events of the Hindenburg disaster. It features over 50 pages of newspaper clippings and newspaper articles covering the disaster and the aftermath. The scrapbook's creator lived in Pontiac, Michigan and is dated August 1st, 1936. The book starts with articles describing the luxury of blimp travel and then covering the disaster that occurred on May 6, 1937 with information on passengers, crew, and survivors of the accident. 

 

This scrapbook is not bound and the pages are worn. The articles have discolored due to age of the papers combined with old glue and tape used to attach clippings to the paper.
